Many people have asked me why I got involved with a network marketing (MLM) firm at this stage in my business career. They know that as president over the past few years that I have literally made my companies millions of dollars and they now ask me why am I selling a health juice.
They say to me, Why a juice? Why Zrii? Why now?
Well, let me tell you a little about my story. It all started on 9/25/07 when I started getting a lot of emails from my Realtor, Jeff in Anthem AZ.
The very next day, I got involved with something that I swore I would never get involved with again. The reason I swore I would never get involved with an MLM, is because I assumed there was no way it could ever pass ALL 5 of my tough requirements.
When Jeff approached me, I was very apprehensive at first. He told me about this new product that he was involved in and how I could literally get in at the ground floor. I had already blown off his first two emails the day before, and that mistake could have cost me big time. By the time he sent me his 3rd email the following morning, I figured I would go ahead and actually read it before I hit the delete key yet another time.
After reading a little of his pitch, I noticed that I changed my sitting posture and started reading with more intensity. I went to the website, and after a few minutes I got Jeff on the phone, and said, “So, what’s the scoop on this Zrii thing?”
I could tell in his voice that we were onto something big. I looked into it deeper and literally within 5 minutes of talking to him the second time, I was signed up. Again, I swore I would never get into something like this ever again. The whole irony of the thing is that in a company meeting, just the day before that, I was even making fun of the very type of thing I joined. And I have that 5 minute blurb from my 1 ½ hour meeting on tape to prove it.
OK, so you are probably asking yourself, “OK, Douglas, what are you talking about?”
You see, I get approached by a lot of people for various different business ideas all the time and I scrutinize them all very carefully. Rarely do any of them warrant me spending more time on them than a mere quick glance at them, before I ultimately turn them down. In order for me to get involved, I have to be able to see a REALISTIC and PROBABLE way to make at least 7 figures on the venture, or I won’t waste my time on it. HOWEVER, this product and opportunity got me really excited really quick.
The first thing that caught my attention was the people who were backing this product.
The main owner of the company, Zrii L.L.C., is William Farley. He’s the uber successful entrepreneur businessman that is a part owner of the Chicago White Sox. He’s the guy who turns brands into major billion dollar players. Like for instance, under his ownership and at his helm, he took Fruit of the Loom from $500 million dollars in annual sales to around 2.3 BILLION dollars in annual sales in a relatively short time frame. He worked on branding other brands like Jordache, Christian Dior, Gitano, Dingo, BVD, Luchese, Dan Post Boots, Acme Boots, and etc.

The other company backing this product that caught my eye was the Chopra Center for Wellbeing, which was co-founded by Dr. Deepak Chopra and David Simon. The Chopra Center for Wellbeing has never before endorsed a 3rd party’s product until now. They are wholeheartedly endorsing Zrii, which is a very huge and coveted endorsement.
The next thing that caught my attention was the actual product itself. It is a juice that was formulated around the Amalaki Fruit. I don’t know if you know this, but the Amalaki Fruit reportedly has the highest concentration of vitamin C in it than any other plant, berry or fruit on the planet. It has so much in it, that this small golf ball sized fruit has 20 times as much vitamin C in it as that of a large orange. Its recorded history dates back over 5000 years in the Indian Sanskrit text of their old holistic Ayurveda medicine field. They call Amalaki the “Nurse” and “The Great Rejuvenator”.
Farley’s team spent over a year coming up with the perfect formulation, one that even the Chopra Center for Wellbeing couldn’t refuse to turn down. Amongst many things, it is extremely high in antioxidants and is in a synergistic blend with 6 other key ingredients like Turmeric, Ginger, Tulsi, Jujube, Haritaki, and Schizandra. Each of those key ingredients all come together to form the most important and exciting liquid nutritional products to ever hit the market. They even mixed in such well known important juices like pomegranate and cranberry juice too. The stuff tastes great too!
The 4th component I saw was a very lucrative payment structure that could in a reasonable time frame help me accomplish one of my goals that keeps coming up,,, to have a separate passive million dollar a year income stream that does not need my constant and continuous involvement. For instance, I love to travel. I was out of town for about 4 months total in 2005 and I loved it. You know, like a 3 week trip to Europe, cruises, skiing, stints on exotic beaches, and what not. However, I noticed that every time I was gone for more than a week, my companies would suffer. So, I decided that I needed to eventually find something that would continue to thrive and even grow in my absence. I wanted to create something that was bigger than me so that it could sustain itself on its own. I figured I would have to spend time on it during its infancy stages, but I wanted something that would sustain itself later on. And I found just the vehicle in Zrii.
The final 5th component, actually, the most important one of all, was that I thought that I would never want to get involved in a MLM (multi level marketing) business, because I always figured that “the only people who ever make any real money at it are the people who get in at the ground floor.”
Well, I found a product that indeed got me in at nearly the ground floor. I am so highly placed in this brand new company, that I am only 8 levels from the top. Again, this isn’t any ordinary company,,, rather this is a company that will satisfy your 5 tough requirements too.
The most exciting part about this is that Zrii is still in its “Pre-Launch” state and it just started on 10/1/07. It’s kind of like a landlord letting you rent out some office space in a building before it is completed. It's like they are still putting up the drywall and getting ready to lay down the flooring. Sure, there might be sawdust floating around and they might have to temporarily cut the electricity from time to time, but we are literally all in this company at the proverbial ground floor.
The reason why I was blessed to get in so early, is that when Bill Farley hand picked the 3 people that were going to launch this billion dollar brand, he picked a guy in Canada. He also picked a guy in Iowa. And, lastly, he picked a guy in Arizona. Luckily he knew people who knew people, who knew people who knew me.
Understand one thing, I wouldn’t have joined this company if I didn’t wholeheartedly believe in this opportunity. I don’t normally pitch anything outside of real estate. But this is something that I wanted to share with everyone.
